Monday, February 15th
There will be no classes on
Monday, February 15th, 2010, in honor of the Presidents Day
Holiday.
Classes will resume on Tuesday,
February 16th.
Reading Olympics
Since February is "I Love to
Read" Month, students in grades K-6 are participating in the
Reading Olympics this month. We kicked off our Reading
Olympics with the opening ceremony on Friday, February 5th.
Each student is encouraged to
not only meet their reading minutes or Reading Counts points
goal, but to exceed it. Students that exceed their
goal will earn a gold medal, Students that meet their
exactly will earn a silver medal. Students that work
towards their goal, but do not meet it will earn a bronze
medal.
Please encourage your student to
find time to enjoy a book! |
